Luxembourg-based office space provider Regus is hanging onto its 37,000-square-foot space on the 20th floor at billionaire investor Alex Rovt’s 14 Wall Street for another 10 years
Capstone Equities and the Carlyle Group bought the 37-story, 1 million-square-foot building near Nassau Street for $325 million in 2007, as previously reported.
Then, last year, Rovt acquired a controlling interest in the former Bankers Trust Company building for $300 million.
CBRE Group broker Mark Ravesloot represented the tenant in the deal, while his colleague Brad Gerla represented the owner. Asking rents were $40 per square foot.
In January, the New York State Society of CPAs took over an entire 37,000-square-foot floor at the building. [Crain’s] — Mark Maurer
