Billy Joel has upped the asking price of his 5,500-square-foot Sagaponack oceanfront property to $23.5 million.
The four-bedroom, six-bathroom estate designed by TV host and interior designer Nate Berkus features a cathedral-ceilinged living room, a studio annex and beach access, according to Curbed. No address was given.
The singer-songwriter put it on the market for $22.5 million in 2009, then chopped the price to $19.9 million a year later, Curbed said.
In August, Berkus bought a three-bedroom duplex co-op at 39 Fifth Avenue, near 10th Street, for $5 million, as previously reported. [Curbed] — Mark Maurer
