The retail at the Durst Organization’s glass pyramid tower at 625 West 57th Street has officially hit the market. The retail space at the Bjarke Ingels Group-designed building will have ceilings up to 27 feet tall, and the one of the commercial units, located on the corner of West 57th Street and Twelfth Avenue, will contain about 27,000 square feet of space.

The other retail units will range between 875 square feet and 4,000 square feet, according to the marketing materials spotted by BuzzBuzzHome. The materials promise access to about 10,000 residential units within 10 blocks of the site.

The project – which will also contain 711 residential units — is slated to be completed in January 2016, according to BuzzBuzzHome.

Durst is among the developers looking to tap into a visa program that gives green cards to foreign investors who put money into U.S. projects. The developer solicited funds for both 625 West 57th Street and a 43-story mixed-use glass tower at 855 Sixth Avenue through the so-called EB-5 program, as previously reported.  [BuzzBuzzHome]Hiten Samtani
