Radio Shack has opened in Jeff Sutton’s former Roxy Deli building in Times Square.
The retailer is the latest to set up shop in the 5,159-square-foot, four-story building at 1565 Broadway, which neighbors Sutton’s American Eagle-occupied 1551 Broadway. The duo also co-owns 1552 Broadway, located across the street, as well as 1560 and 1604 Broadway.
Asking rents in the area run north of $2,500 per square foot, the New York Post reported.
Sutton purchased the Roxy Deli building in a $30 million deal earlier this year; the transaction was brokered by Jack Valensi and Jacob Sinai of Valensi Realty. [NYP] — Julie Strickland
