The global investment bank the Seaport Group has renewed and expanded its office lease at its global headquarters in Midtown.
The firm added another 12,283 square feet to its current 12,283-square-foot lease on the 21st and 22nd floors of 360 Madison Avenue. However, the firm also subleases another 12,283 square feet in the building, giving it a total occupancy of 36,849 square feet, according to the New York Observer.
“Mitch [Kunikoff] and I first put Seaport in 4,000 square feet about 14 years ago,” Dennis Someck, a principal and executive managing director of Lee NYC, said in a statement.
Someck and Kunikoff, also a principal and executive managing director, represented the tenant in the transaction. The landlord, Stawski Partners, was represented by a CBRE team consisting of Edward Goldman and Derrick Ades. Asking rents on 360 Madison’s upper floors are upwards of $85 per square foot.
