Online travel site TripAdvisor plans to set up shop in Beacon Capital Partners’ 330 Hudson Street. The internet company inked a 10-year deal to take 37,998 square feet on the 16-story building’s second floor, with asking rents in the mid $60s per square foot.
An exclusive leasing team from CBRE Group represented the landlord, while TripAdvisors’ brokers were not disclosed to the New York Observer. The building is between Charlton and Vandam streets in the hot Hudson Square neighborhood.
Beacon Capital Partners unveiled the Class A office tower, geared towards new media, technology and financial investment companies back in October, following a capital improvement program that renovated the building’s lobby, the stone-and-brick base that dates back to 1910, and the glass-wrapped tower floors.
