Nine out of the 10 units at the Karl Fischer-designed condominium at 427 East 12th Street are in contract, according to StreetEasy. The East Village condos, nestled between Avenue A and First Avenue, were asking between $850,000 for a one-bedroom unit to $2.4 million for the penthouse.
The site, at 427 East 12th Street, was bought in April 2010, for $1.87 million by developer Shaky Cohen.
The construction netting and associated bric-a-brac have now been removed from the building, EV Grieve reported.
Fischer’s current projects include a new residential building in Crown Heights, at 564 St. Johns Place, built in conjunction with developer Simon Dushinsky’s Rabsky Group. Fischer is also working on a six-story residential building in Clinton Hill. [EV Grieve] – Hiten Samtani
