Scott Resnick’s planned condominium development in West Chelsea has just released a new rendering. Development plans for the project at 551 West 21st Street, Resnick’s first under the banner of his firm SR Capital, were first filed in January 2013, as The Real Deal reported.
Norman Foster is the design architect, while Beyer Blinder Belle is the executive architect on the project and filed the plans with the city Department of Buildings.
The 20-story, 44-unit condo building will have full-floor apartments on the top three floors as well as a private roof deck, according to Curbed. Units are being marketed by Brown Harris Stevens and will range in price from $5.75 million to $17.5 million, with penthouses starting at $35 million.
Resnick is implementing robust storm-protection at the building, including a waterproof concrete wall — and telling brokers to highlight these measures when showing units to clients. [Curbed] – Hiten Samtani
