Tyler Ellis, daughter of menswear designer Perry Ellis, is looking to cash in on her 15 Central Park West home, asking three times what she paid for the pad in 2008.
Ellis, the latest to join the high-rolling flippers in the Zeckendorf development, picked up her 33rd-floor unit the year Lehman Brothers imploded for just under $11 million. Now, she is planning to ask $31 million, according to listing broker Kyle Blackmon of Brown Harris Stevens.
Ellis’ 3,105-square-foot pad boasts 11-foot ceilings and views of Central park through its floor-to-ceiling living room windows, according to the Wall Street Journal. The master bedroom, flush with closet space, also faces the park, while the kitchen boasts Hudson River views.
Ellis, who has recently become a designer in her own right with the launch of a handbag line dubbed Tyler Alexandra, was not available for comment, the Journal said. [WSJ, 4th item] — Julie Strickland
