Calif. home with outrageous amenities chops price to $68.8M
After going on and off the market and several dramatic price changes, this sprawling California mega-mansion – complete with a 15-person Jacuzzi – still can’t sell.
The palatial home, located at 172 Bliss Canyon Road in Bradbury, Calif., first hit the market in February 2012, asking a staggering $78.8M. The seven-bedroom, 30,000-square-foot property was then pulled on and off the market over a period of two years, before having its price reduced to today’s ask of $68.8 million, according to Curbed.
The amenity-laden mansion features a 3D theater, a 2,000-bottle wine cellar, a “poker lounge,” and a firing range – and that is all just in the basement. Outside, the home boasts an LED light-equipped pool, a temperature-controlled trout pond with a two-story waterfall, and a Jacuzzi designed to accommodate 15. The interior is also aggressively decorated, with intricately carved green walls and domed ceilings featuring hand painted frescos. [Curbed] –Christopher Cameron
