The latest episode in a NoMad hotel boom will be a 20-story structure at 292 Fifth Avenue, at West 31st Street.
The 206-foot-tall building will have a total of 142 units, 42,495 square feet of commercial space and 9,561 square feet of residential, according to permits filed with the city. DDG is the developer, according to the permit filings, and the architect of record is Rawlings.
The project will span 52,000 square feet, with most of the space used up by the planned 130-room hotel on the first fourteen floors, according to a report from New York Yimby. The building’s top four floors will house twelve residences. Prices are not immediately available.
No completion date has been announced as of yet, as demolition and construction permits are still awaiting approval. [New York YIMBY] — Julie Strickland
