Developer Scott Resnick has officially started marketing his firm SR Capital’s latest project, an ultra-luxe 19-story West Chelsea condominium tower featuring penthouses priced above $35 million.
The Norman Foster-designed apartments at 551 West 21st Street now have their own website to give prospective buyers a sneak peak at the new homes, according to Curbed. Units are being marketed by Brown Harris Stevens, with the cheapest digs listed for $5.75 million, as The Real Deal previously reported.
Resnick bought the building in 2012 for $32 million, along with more than $22 million-worth of development rights from various sellers, according to property records.
Two, three and four bedroom apartments are available, with 6,200-square-foot full-floor apartments on the three highest levels and a private pool and rooftop deck reserved for the 4,000-square-foot top floor.
The building itself, positioned on the Hudson near 12th Avenue, will feature a waterproof concrete wall to protect against storms, as well as a gym and valet service. [Curbed] — Angela Hunt
