Crown Heights brownstone sets neighborhood sale record
The property closed for $1.85M
A Crown Heights brownstone has set a neighborhood record for a single-family sale, closing for $1.85 million, according to listing broker Anthony Santangelo of Douglas Elliman.
The house, which is located at 1234 Dean Street, hit the market only a few months ago asking $2.195 million. The sellers of the four-bedroom, two-bathroom property paid just $699,000 for the place back in 2011, according to Curbed.
The home features lots of historic detail, new appliances, working gas fireplaces with original fixtures, a spacious garden and an original wood-burning stove. [Curbed] – Christopher Cameron
