“Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” star B.D. Wong, who starred as Dr. George Huang on the long-running NBC show, has unloaded his Noho loft.
Rob Morea, Wong’s broker and personal trainer, told Curbed that the ground-floor apartment at 25 East 4th Street is in contract for the full $3.25 million ask. With a below-ground bedroom that doesn’t get a lot of light, the home is “not the place for a daylight queen,” Wong told the New York Times in a 2012 profile of the home. Still, the unit, which has in past lives been a sweatshop, Yiddish theater and a X-rated movie house, according to Curbed, spreads across 2,950 square feet and boasts doors repurposed from a Philadelphia bank, bathroom with an antique Chinese vanity and vintage ceramic tub.
Wong purchased the unit in 2005 for $1.25 million. [Curbed] — Julie Strickland
