Zhann Jochinke of Keller Williams is leaving the real estate firm’s Manhattan office to head up the company’s new outpost in Dubai.

The 31-year-old Williams will take the chief executive position in the office, located in Laguna Tower of the Jumeirah Lake Towers complex. Jochinke formerly headed the day-to-day operations at the firm’s office on 425 Park Avenue, as previously reported. Since he was brought on in 2012, Jochinke “has been instrumental” in growing the office by almost 300 associates, a press release issued by the firm stated.

The Austin, Texas-based real estate franchise also appointed Werner Burger as operating principal of the Dubai office and Piaras Moriarty as the regional director, according to the release.

“In many ways, the Middle East is still in the startup phase when it comes to selling real estate,” said Burger in the press release. “Keller Williams, with its agent-centric principles, will revolutionize the market, just as it has in the United States and Canada.”

Keller Williams also has locations in Turkey and South Africa, according to a review of their website. Angela Hunt
