“Real Housewife” lists $25K-per-month townhouse rental

Move follows years of attempting to sell 4,500-square-foot pad

Sonja Morgan, “Real Housewives of New York” star and ex-wife of J.P. Morgan heir John Morgan, is renting out her Upper East Side townhouse after years of attempting to sell.

Morgan is asking $25,000 per month for the five-story, five-bedroom home at 162 East 63rd Street so that she can keep up with tax payments on the property, the New York Daily News reported. She listed the home back in 2009 for $9.2 million in hopes of paying off her debts, and later tried again at $7.25 million. But no buyer emerged, so Morgan opted to rent until a buyer is secured.
