Continuum Company has unveiled new images for what its new residential tower at 41 East 22nd Street will look like once it is completed.
The skyscraper will be 777 feet tall, making it the tallest building between Lower Manhattan and Midtown. Goldstein Hill & West is the architect.
The 60-story, 372,684 square-foot building will have 81 units, including an 8,892 square foot duplex covering the 58th and 59th floors.
The building’s overall shape will be ‘shard’-like, with the tower’s upper floors ending in a beveled apex.
A completion date for construction of the property has not yet been announced. Demolition permits for the existing structure, however, were issued on Thursday. [NYY] —TRD
