A new 23-story apartment building is coming to Downtown Brooklyn’s 237 Duffield Street, Between Willoughby Street and Fullton Mall.
New building applications were filed today for the 108-unit property, to be designed by Urban Tectonics. The tower will stretch 223-feet high and spread across 85,297 square feet of residential space, and have 4,546 square feet of commercial space on the ground floor. Whether the residences will be rentals or condominiums was not immediately clear.
The site, originally slated to become a hotel developed by V3 Hotels, was purchased by the current developer in 2007 for $9,500,000. [Brownstoner] — Julie Strickland
