UWS’ Pomander Walk sees rare listing
The unit is asking roughly double what similar units have sought
Named after a romantic comedy that hit the New York stage back in 1910, and tucked away behind a gate on the Upper West Side, Pomander Walk is one of the unique developments in Manhattan. And with just 63 Tudor-style co-ops, listings are rare.
But last week a Pomander Walk one-bedroom hit the market asking $875,000 – quite a bit more expensive than previous listings for similar units in the development, according to Curbed.
At the end of 2012, a one-bedroom in the gated-community, Which Is Located On 94th Street between Broadway and West End, went into contract for $399,000. Natalie Weiss of Nest Seekers International has the listing. [Curbed] – Christopher Cameron
