Privately-owned hedge fund sponsor Jane Street Capital is considering a huge company expansion with a potential 150,000-square-foot lease at 250 Vesey Street at Brookfield Place.
The landlord, Brookfield Office Properties, has been working to fill the vacancy left by Japanese securities firm the Nomura Group in 2011. Jane Street Capital occupies 20,000 square feet at 1 New York Plaza, also owned by Brookfield.
