Fashion designer Derek Lam is moving to Gramercy Park. Shortly after selling his Soho loft, he closed on a three-bedroom condop at the 17-story building at 50 Gramercy Park North for $4.8 million.
Corcoran Group broker James Morgan represented Lam, while Douglas Elliman brokers Paige Neuhauser and Kirk Rundhaug represented the seller, the New York Daily News reported. The apartment features floor-to-ceiling windows, room service and access to the gym.
Lam and his partner Jan-Hendrik Schlottmann unloaded their three-bedroom triplex at 92 Greene Street for $5.25 million in the past month, as previously reported. Lam and Schlottmann purchased the property for $4.65 million in 2011. [NYDN] — Mark Maurer
