Comedian and filmmaker Louis C.K. bought a Shelter Island home where baseball legend Babe Ruth used to spend his summers.
He paid $2.49 million for the three-story house, known as Primrose Cottage, on a two-acre site. The house has six bedrooms, three-and-a-half bathrooms and five fireplaces. He plans to renovate the property, which was on the market for $3.5 million. [NYP] — Mark Maurer
