A mixed-use development is coming to the intersection of Nassau and Jay Streets in Downtown Brooklyn.
Permits for the development at 120 Nassau Street were filed with the city this week. A seven-story office building at the site — which is also known as 199 Jay Street — is currently being demolished. The development at 120 Nassau Street will be 290,420 square feet. It will include residential, hotel and “community facility” components divided over two buildings.
The hotel will be eight stories and have 119 rooms. The apartment building will be 32 stories and 425 feet tall with 381 units.
Thomas Aschmoneit of 203 Jay St. Assoc LLC is listed as the developer and Woods Bagot is the architect of record. [NY YIMBY] — Claire Moses
