The Puck Penthouses are landing at the revered red-brick namesake building at 293 Lafayette Street. The luxury conversion, aimed at the super rich, has attracted a number of celebrity visitors such as rocker Jon Bon Jovi. That should be a relief for developer Jared Kushner as he had a hard time getting the green light from the Landmarks Preservation Commission for the conversion. Of the six penthouses, one is already in contract for $27.5 million even before sales began in January 2014. The only available unit on the market now is a three-bedroom that measures 4,895 square feet and asks $21 million. The lofts will have barrel vault brick ceilings, cast-iron columns, oversize windows and open layouts. All six penthouses will have “sweeping cinematic views,” while three penthouses also come with deep, set-back outdoor space. Contact www.puckpenthouses.com or 212-418-2060.
