At the time Bleckner bought four-bedroom home, it was falling apart. Since then, the 5,000-square-foot house has undergone two extensive renovations.

In an interview from the 1970s, Capote described Sagaponack as “Kansas with a sea breeze,” and he reportedly loved to write there.

The property comes with an art studio and a pool. [NYP] — Claire Moses
