Real estate private equity firm Savanna has unveiled renderings for its nine-story Chelsea commercial building with a two-story art gallery.
Architect Morris Adjmi has devised a design of the building with a metallic façade and big casement windows, New York YIMBY reported. The 128,000-square-foot building at 540 West 26th Street between 10th and 11th avenues is set to hold 99,000 square feet of commercial space. The art gallery will span nearly 29,000 square feet.
Savanna filed building plans in March and received approval for demolition of a two-story building on the site in July, as previously reported. [NY YIMBY] — Mark Maurer
