Five most popular Manhattan, Brooklyn rental listings in July
$2,400-a-month Upper West Side condo most viewed on StreetEasy
An Upper West Side studio apartment was the most popular Manhattan rental listing last month, according to data provided by StreetEasy.
The first-floor condominium with 17-foot-high ceilings at 342 West 85th Street is listed for $2,400 per month. Grace Chang and Scott Wang of Douglas Elliman have the listing.
The other most popular Manhattan rental listings were a one-bedroom Noho condo at 308 Mott Street asking $2,500; a Chelsea studio at 312 West 23rd Street asking $2,095; a one-bedroom at 145 12th Street in Greenwich Village asking $3,400; and a one-bedroom West Village co-op at 15 Jones Street asking $2,500. The brokers for these apartments, respectively, are Travis Kent of Performing Assets Corp; Andrew Matina of Modern Spaces; Sonia Stock and Sean Sasso of Douglas Elliman; and Lai Ko of Elite Plus Realty.
In Brooklyn, the most popular rental listing on StreetEasy last month was a studio in Homecrest asking for a mere $500 per month. Arlene Peldman of Talk of the Town Realty has the listing, for the home at 3533 Nostrand Avenue.
The other most in-demand listings in Brooklyn were a one-bedroom co-op at 135 Willow Street in Brooklyn Heights asking $2,500; a Park Slope studio condo at 559 3rd Street asking $1,600; a Boerum Hill studio condo at 412 State Street asking $1,795; and a one-bedroom condo at 79 Bridge Street in Vinegar Hill asking $3,100.
