A Trump Organization executive is suing a Manhattan doctor to the tune of $250,000 for renting him an allegedly substandard Hamptons vacation home.
Michael Cohen, vice president and special counsel at the Trump Organization, alleged that the Sagaponack house he rented for a month was riddled with problems, the New York Post reported. Among his complaints: the air-conditioning, toilets, security gate and sauna were busted and many of the beds turned out to be children’s doubles and were too small for his extended family members.
Cohen paid $150,000 for one month at the $7.5 million, 12,000-square-foot property, according to the newspaper.
“I wanted to do something special for my parents and my siblings, and he destroyed that by being irresponsible and conniving,” Cohen told the Post.
Owner Ali Guy, a psychiatrist at New York University, told the newspaper the complaints are “completely unfounded.” [NYP] – Tom DiChristopher
