Formerly known as the Steelworks Lofts, the luxury rental building at 76 North 4th Street will now be known as the Lewis Steel Building, according to Brownstoner.
The 83-unit luxury building is being designed by Hustvedt Cutler Architects, replacing the original architect of record, Gene Kaufman. The apartments will be a mix of studios, one-, two- and three-bedrooms. Leasing is expected to launch immediately.
Toll, son of real estate mogul Robert Toll, bought the site in 2010 together with Cayuga for $17 million. Previous owner Fifth Square Partners paid $27 million in 2007.
