5 most popular Manhattan, Brooklyn rental listings in August
Murray Hill pads dominate month's demand
Three Murray Hill apartments topped the list of the most popular Manhattan rental listings last month, according to data provided by StreetEasy.
The most-viewed rental listing was for a studio co-op at Woodstock Tower, located at 320 East 42nd Street, asking $1,700 per month. Elliot Adler of City Connections Realty has the listing.
The second most popular listing was for a six-room, one-bedroom co-op at 303 East 37th Street asking $2,300 per month. Astor Realty Enterprise LLC has the listing.
The next listing was for a studio co-op at 5 Tudor City Place, asking $2,600 per month. Douglas Elliman broker Brandon Bogard has the listing. Filling out the top five are two rentals not in Murray Hill.
A one-bedroom condo at the Hotel Alexander, at 306 West 94th Street on the Upper West Side is asking $1,680 per month. The unit has been on the market since February, when it was listed for $1,566 per month. Hotel Alexander handles leasing in-house. Lastly, a one-bedroom condo at 308 Mott Street in Noho is asking $2,500 per month. Travis Kent of Performing Assets Corporation has the listing.
Meanwhile, in Brooklyn, the most popular listing of August was a two-bedroom co-op at 30 Willow Place in Brooklyn Heights asking $5,500 per month. Brown Harris Stevens broker Joan Goldberg has the listing. Despite being on the market a mere 18 days by the end of August, it drew more StreetEasy pageviews than any of listing in Manhattan or Brooklyn last month.
The other popular Brooklyn listings were for a two-bedroom co-op at 656 Carroll Street in Park Slope ($4,500); a studio condo at 188 Woodpoint Road in Williamsburg ($2,000); one-bedroom co-op at 135 Willow Street in Brooklyn Heights ($2,500); and a one-bedroom condo at 153 Dekalb Avenue in Fort Greene ($2,300), according to StreetEasy.
