Those who grow hungry after shopping at Macy’s will soon have a new dining option: Shake Shack is opening a new locale about a block away.
The Herald Square location of Danny Meyer’s successful burger chain will open in the fall of 2015 at 1333 Broadway — which is owned by Empire State Realty Trust — on the corner of West 36th Street, the New York Post reported.
The Herald Square Shake Shack will measure 3,265 square feet.
Two electronics stores and a Pronto Pizza, currently located in the building, will move out to make way for the burger joint’s new outpost.
CBRE’s Andrew S. Goldberg and Matt Chmielecki represented Meyer, while Fred Posniak and Ryan Kass represented ESRT in-house. [NYP, 1st] — Claire Moses
