JEMB Realty has big plans for the City Point-adjacent parcel it purchased earlier this year for $38.5 million.
The developer is seeking permits to build a 620-foot-tall, 65-story mixed-use building at 420 Albee Square in Downtown Brooklyn, according to city records cited by New York YIMBY. At that height, it would rise higher than the borough’s current top dog 388 Bridge Street, but clock in well below JDS’s nearly 800-foot tall tower planned for 340 Flatbush Avenue Extension, the development blog noted.
The permits map out 620 apartments totaling 480,435 square feet of space on the upper floors and 271,203 square feet allotted for commercial use below. [NY YIMBY] — Tom DiChristopher
