It’s been a while since the word “penthouse” actually meant the full top floor. These days most new luxury buildings have “penthouse.” But a new Brooklyn development is stretching the word even further.
The residences at 338 Bridge Street, located on floors 45 to 53, have all been designated “penthouses” because they have “higher ceilings, better appliances and upgraded heat and A/C systems than lower-floor apartments,” a sales representative told DNAinfo.
“Penthouse” residents also have exclusive access to the “Sky Lounge,” boasting grand views, a fireplace, televisions and a kitchenette. Prices range from $1.7 to $6 million. [DNAinfo] – Christopher Cameron
