Cadillac, General Motors’ luxury auto brand, is nearing a deal for 20,000 square feet of office space in Hudson Square.
The automaker is in talks to pick up a full-floor spot at Beacon Properties’ 330 Hudson Street, a 470,000-square-foot office building that is currently being redeveloped. Cadillac is also considering a ground-floor retail space that can be used as a showroom, according to Crain’s. Rents are reportedly in the $80s per square foot.
The company will use the office space to house executive, marketing and sales staffers, while engineering, design and manufacturing employees will remain in Cadillac’s Detroit location. [Crain’s] — Julie Strickland
