Tallying up the amenities at Extell’s Lower East Side project

Developer plans to include a bowling alley, rock-climbing wall, spas and much more

Extell Development’s planned 68-story tower in the Lower East Side has caused more than one row in the community, but future residents will likely have plentiful peace of mind given the extensive list of amenities mapped out in planning documents.

The Bowery Boogie blog spotlighted some of the facilities tenants can expect at 250 South Street. Some of the sportier amenities located in the include a nearly 2,000-square-foot pool, kids pool, basketball court, bowling alley, squash court and golf simulator.

There is also a pool reception and lounge area, steam and sauna rooms, a theater and WiFi lounge.
