Jack Resnick & Sons’ 35-story 199 Water Street is now fully occupied.
Two new leases were signed at the 1.1 million-square-foot building. BGC Brokers, a subsidiary of BGC Partners, is converting a sublease of almost 80,000 square feet into a 15-year lease starting Jan. 1, 2015, according to the New York Post. BGC occupies the 18th and 19th floors of the building.
The Howard Hughes Corporation has also inked a lease. The operator of the South Street Seaport signed a 10-year lease for 36,985 square feet, which is the entire 28th floor. [NYP, 1st] — Claire Moses
