Palantir Technologies, the Palo Alto, Calif.-based big data analytics company that is revolutionizing the national security and intelligence landscape, signed a 15-year lease for more than 77,000 square feet at 430 West 15th Street.
The lease for 77,293 square feet was signed in August, according to the New York Post. Palantir, which counts the Central Intelligence Agency, the National Security Agency and the Federal Bureau of Investigation among its clients, will occupy the second through seventh floors as well as parts of the ground floor and lower levels. The Space Also Includes A Terrace and a glass roof, the paper reported. Asking rent was between $90 and $100.
Palantir is currently located at 15 Little West 12th Street, where it has 47,726 square feet.
Newmark Grubb Knight Frank’s Michael Morris and Paul Ippolito represented Palantir. CBRE’s Paul Amrich, Neil King, Ross Zimbalist and Steve Siegel represented owners Atlas Capital Group and Rockpoint Group, who are turning the 99,558-square-foot garage at the site into a state of the art tower for tech companies.
