Paul Anand, a top broker at the Corcoran Group who has represented pro athletes and celebrities and once held the bragging rights for the city’s priciest townhouse listing, has moved his team to Brown Harris Stevens.

Before joining Corcoran, Anand was the top-producing agent at Sotheby’s International Realty in 2011. Last year, Anand and Corcoran’s Gabriella Dufwa listed a 40-foot-wide townhouse at 12 East 69th Street for an eye-popping $114 million, making the property the highest-priced townhouse yet in New York City. (The price was later lowered to $98 million.) Earlier this year, Anand listed movie director Oliver Stone’s two-bedroom apartment at 1 Morton Square for $2.9 million.

Anand’s team includes Agnes Beaugendre, Sharon Elbaz, Ashley Fitterer and Timea Greenberg. Their move to Brown Harris Stevens follows several other high-profile departures from Corcoran in recent weeks, including Fabienne Lecole, Lauren Muss and the LaChance Team.

Brown Harris Stevens is in active growth mode, with an ongoing office expansion at 445 Park Avenue and a new Downtown flagship location at 130 Fifth Avenue slated for later this year.

Despite losing several high-profile names recently, Corcoran is also actively growing its agent roster, signing 90 new agents over the summer. The brokerage has also signed leases for three new offices.
