A historic Staten Island warehouse is set to become a tech incubator space.
Investor John Salis bought the long-vacant warehouse at 75 Clinton Street and is transforming it into a space for tech startups and entrepreneurs, according to DNAinfo. The space is expected to open at the end of 2014.
“There is a need for space and lot of tech guys,” Salis told the website. “I’m hoping to keep these good brains in Staten Island. They don’t have to take the ferry any more.”
Salis already owns a space in the Staten Island Artists Building, where he has opened a similar location for artists. [DNAinfo] — Claire Moses
