Wesley Edens, founder of Midtown-based private equity firm Fortress Investment Group and owner of the Milwaukee Bucks, is asking $17 million for his six-bedroom co-op at 271 Central Park West on the Upper West Side.
Edens has lived in the 6,000-square-foot, four-bathroom apartment for about 20 years, according to the New York Daily News. Landis Hosterman and Jay Glazer of Urban Compass have the listing.
Eden’s Fortress Investment Group, which owns special servicer CWCapital Asset Management, was preparing a $4.7 billion bid in May to acquire Stuyvesant Town-Peter Cooper Village, as previously reported. [NYDN] — Mark Maurer
