Private equity firm Sportswear Holdings Ltd. is moving into a duplex penthouse office on the top floor of 9 West 57th Street.
The company will occupy roughly 5,000 square feet on the 50th floor at the Sheldon Solow-owned Plaza District office tower and 15,000 square feet on the 49th floor, according to Crain’s. Asking rent is more than $200 per square foot, among the highest for office space in the city, according to the web site.
In June 2013, publicly-traded hedge fund Och-Ziff Capital Management Group renewed and expanded its lease at the building for more than $200 a square foot.
Lawrence Stroll and Silas Chou — the investment firm’s billionaire founders — each bought units at One57 two years ago.
