Financial District-based construction services firm Hunter Roberts Construction Group inked a sublease for a 37,000-square-foot space on the 51st floor of 55 Water Street, one of the biggest commercial buildings in the city.
The space at the 3.8 million-square-foot, 53-story property is leased to law firm Sullivan and Cromwell. Ross Eisenberg and Stuart Romanoff of Cushman & Wakefield represented the construction firm, which plans to relocate from 225 Liberty Street next month.
Pension-fund administrator Retirement Systems of Alabama owns the building, while New Water Street Corporation manages it.
Earlier this year, German fashion brand Hugo Boss signed a lease for 70,000 square feet of office space, as previously reported. [NYO] — Mark Maurer
