The city’s priciest rental listing, a $500,000-per-month full-floor pad on the 39th floor of the Pierre Hotel, has successfully rented for the full asking price, according to Town Residential. That price sets a new record for the most expensive residential rental deal in New York City.

The six-bedroom, 6.5 bathroom apartment spans just under 4,800 square feet and overlooks Central Park, according to the listing with Town’s Therese Bateman and Andres Perea-Garzon. The listing went live at the end of October.

The agents also rented a $150,000-a-month guest suite for slightly under ask, according to a Town spokesperson. Both deals were first reported by the Wall Street Journal.

“We’re delighted that our launching of this luxury portfolio has generated such an immediate response,” Bateman said in a statement.

The pricey pad has been rented out for just 30 days, however, and will be back up for grabs in January. – Hiten Samtani
