The line to get into the Boom Boom Room and Le Bain — the swanky and exclusive nightclubs located on the top floor of the Standard Hotel in the Meatpacking District — is usually full of high-heeled women and well-coiffed men who are convincing the bouncer that they are worthy of getting in.
Last Thursday, however, no such line could be found on Washington and Little West 12th streets. A simple “I’m here for the Madison party,” got the visitors, some of the city’s top real estate professionals, no matter what shoes they were wearing, in (although most of the footwear was certainly up to snuff).
The occasion: Madison Realty Capital — the real estate investment firm lead by Josh Zegen, Brian Shatz and Adam Tantleff — threw its annual holiday party, one of several that real estate folk will check out this month. Hundreds of people filled the top floor of the hotel, schmoozing about, making good use of the open bar and enjoying an extensive buffet that included hot dogs, burgers, sushi and several desserts.
In attendance: Soho Properties’ Sharif El-Gamal and Sammy El-Gamal, Rosewood Realty Group’s Aaron Jungreis, Toll Brothers’ Alan Silver, Eastern Consolidated’s Ron Solarz, James Famularo and Adelaide Polsinelli, Aptsandlofts’ David Maundrell, GCP Capital Group’s Adam Hakim, HPNY’s Ivan Hakimian, Westwood Realty Associates’ Steven Vegh and TerraCRG’s Ofer Cohen.
