Michelle Williams sells Brooklyn home for $8.8M

Actress bought the house in 2005 for $3.6M and listed the property for $7.5M this fall

Academy Award-nominated actress Michelle Williams has sold her ivy-covered Boerum Hill townhouse for $1.3 million more than the asking price. 

Williams listed the home for $7.5 million in October, according to 6sqft. The actress, known for her roles in “My Week With Marilyn,” “Blue Valentine” and “Brokeback Mountain,” bought the house in 2005 with her then-boyfriend, Heath Ledger, for $3.6 million.

The four-story home at 126 Hoyt Street comes with a three-car garage. The home also includes a temperature-controlled wine cellar, radiant heat floors and a landscaped roof deck, the website reported.

After moving out of the home on the corner of Hoyt and Dean Streets, Williams spent some time in Red Hook with former boyfriend Jason Segel. [6sqft] — Claire Moses
