Ian Bruce Eichner’s Continuum Company is looking to build a 525-foot-tall, 24-story mixed-use project in East Harlem.
Eichner’s plans for 1800 Park Avenue, between 124th and 125th streets, call for 670 apartments as well as 2,224 square feet to park 343 bicycles, according to the New York Observer. Eichner bought the property in 2013 for $66 million from Vornado Realty Trust.
Previous plans, which were denied last year by the Department of Buildings, called for 32 stories, according to the website. ODA Architecture and SLCE Architects are designing. Martin Brudnizki Design Studio is in charge of the interiors, according to the website. [NYO] — Claire Moses
