UPDATED, Mar. 6, 4:32 p.m.: Trendy men’s fashion retailer Bonobos, which has “guideshops” in the city where customers can try on clothes before buying them online, has signed on to double its office and showroom space at 45 West 25th Street in NoMad.
Bonobos currently occupies the fourth and fifth floors and will now add the second and third, upping its total to 40,000 square feet, the New York Post reported. The lease length is 10 years. The brand first signed on for a small space on the fourth floor in 2010 and has expanded from there.
“This is shopping made simple for the tech crowd,” said Savills Studley’s Jeffrey Peck, who represented the company along with Jason Perla and Christopher Foerch.
Bonafide Estates’ Alan Locker represented the building in-house. Asking rents in the building are in the $50s per square foot.
Bonobos has a second guideshop in Soho at 35 Crosby Street and will soon open another at Brookfield Place. [NYP] — Tess Hofmann
