Not everything comes easy to celebrity power couples. Actress Sarah Jessica Parker and her husband, actor Matthew Broderick, struggled mightily to sell their Greenwich Village townhouse, which was first listed several years ago for $25 million. But the pad has finally entered contract, with its most current listing price being $19.95 million.

It’s likely a disappointing sell for the “Sex and the City” actress, who purchased the 1846 home at 20 East 10th Street for $19 million in 2011. While Parker, Broderick, and their three children never lived there, they did complete renovations, according to the New York Post.

Fredrik Eklund and John Gomes of Douglas Elliman were the listing brokers, having taken over the listing in December and chopped the ask from $22 million. When it first hit the market, in 2012, a Sotheby’s team listed it for $25 million.
