A Robert A.M. Stern-designed house in Montauk has sat on the market for roughly two years. Now, it has sold for roughly its $8.2 million asking price.
The 2,500-square-foot house sits on 1.5 acres, but has struggled to find a buyer. It saw $1.25 million in price cuts over the last two years, according to Curbed.
It was built in 1973 and sits closer to the water than current zoning laws allow – and there’s always a possibility that the home could be pulled down. [Curbed] – Christopher Cameron
