Tommy Hilfiger’s Plaza penthouse cuts ask to $75M

Pad was listed with Dolly Lenz for $80 million in October 2013

Tommy Hilfiger is offering a significant discount. On his apartment.

The all-American fashion designer has chopped off $5 million from the original $80 million asking price of his Plaza Hotel penthouse duplex, according to the New York Post. Hilfiger and his wife Dee Ocleppo have re-listed the unit, located on the 18th and 19th floors of the building, for $75 million.

Corcoran Group’s Marie-Claire Gladstone has the listing. Top broker Dolly Lenz listed the unit in October 2013.

Hilfiger bought the units for $25 million in 2008 and combined them into one sprawling apartment. Previously, the designer listed the apartment for $50 million before taking it off the market.

The 6,000-square-foot four-bedroom unit includes an original Eloise mural by Hilary Knight and a terrace, the newspaper reported. [NYP] — Claire Moses
